Requirement: A doctorate or comparable scientific achievement is generally required of applicants for a Weimar Scholarship.
The Foundation Weimar Classic and Art Collections promotes scientific projects through scholarships that are centred on European cultural history from the early modern age until the present day and must be carried out using the materials available in Weimar. Particularly welcome are projects that contribute to intensive research into the collections of the Goethe and Schiller Archive, the Duchess Anna Amalia Library and the museums.
